What is the most influential source of information for tourist decision-making about their vacation ?
Other people who have already visited Thailand is the most influential source.

What is the effect of the INTRAMA 1990-1991 World Destination Monitor survey on the tourism industry in Thailand ?
The survey is important because it depicts Thailand as the second most likely place tourists will be cheated or overcharged

What should be done to solve the problem ?
Many things could be done to solve the problem. For example, Thailand’s tourism industry could create advertising campaigns that promote fairness and value to future tourists. This would brand the country in a positive way and create awareness to the Thai public about an issue that is effecting the countries very important tourism. It could also offer incentives to individuals who have already visited the country. Since word of mouth advertising is the most effective advertising strategy, improving relations with past tourists will be beneficial.
